This is an effective and appropriate image as I am photographing a drummers portrait. This portrays the drummer whilst she is working, showing her dedication during playing whilst not taking away from the portraiture genre.

Combined with the subjects stern facial expression, this photograph portrays Adele as always ready despite not being on stage yet.
